Due to scent passing through this area of the brain, emotions, memory, and scent become intertwined. Smell and emotion are stored as one memory. Scent is instrumental to feelings of nostalgia, safety, and comfort. Pleasant memories put us in good moods, and being in a good mood helps to reduce stress.

In the heart of the forest, I find myself nestled in a Hytta, a cozy cabin that offers solace from the world's chaos. The air is filled with the comforting scent of pine needles, and the crackling fireplace casts a warm, golden glow. Beyond the cabin's walls, the wind brushes through the trees, and the rain gently taps on the tin roof. As I sit inside, sipping hot tea, I feel strong connection with the wild.
